Modeling Riverbank Slope Reinforcement Using Anti-Slide Piles with Geocells

Geocells are increasingly used in engineering applications, but the design of riverbank slope reinforcements that use only geocells limits reinforcement performance. Moreover, and anti-slide piles with mainly based on experiences unsupported by theoretical models. In this paper, combining confinement effect vertical action mechanism geocells, horizontal friction geocell layer support piles, a model reinforced was constructed. addition, to describe mechanical behavior slip-resisting pile interaction between their internal filler is considered model. Furthermore, investigate influence changes water level stability, developed takes into account settlement, lateral displacement, bending moment axial force. The predications were validated field measurement data. results from series parametric studies show can effectively reduce settlement displacement slope. could contribute an optimal for enhancing stability
